So on June 23rd I’ll be speaking at the Emerging Tech Conference in Grapevine, TX. I normally stick to WordCamps but this conference has a WordPress track so that’s close enough I say.
I’ll be speaking on how to create a child theme for the Genesis Framework. I’ll go through the process of creating a child theme and also digging into code of existing child themes to show how the functionality can be dramatically changed by removing and/or adding functions, etc.
